and finish coats of abrasive to be applied with accuracy. This support
for the silicon carbide grain along with resin bonding systems allows
for uniform coating, providing consistent cutting power when grinding
and polishing.
Abrasive
Source provides silicon carbide closed coat belts with a heavy duty
polyester backing that can be used either wet or dry.
Used
primarily for glass edging and finishing in fabrication departments
around the world. The closed coat silicon carbide grain minimizes
chipping, burning and breaking while grinding.
Our
silicon carbide belts may be used with water to reduce airborne
dust and cut cooler to improve finish.
Bi-directional
joints provide bump-free splices, producing smooth finishes.
